Open your iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find Wine Whisperer and tap Cancel Subscription.
Whisper Points are earned by scanning wines (+5pts), adding bottles to your cellar (+5pts), unlocking passport regions (+10pts), earning trophies (+25pts), and checking in at wineries. Redeem them in your Profile for free scans or a 24-hour Wine Bus Pass.
Tap Check In Here on the Winery Check-In screen. The app detects your nearest winery. First visits earn 50 Whisper Points, return visits after the 7-day cooldown earn 25 points.
Open the paywall by tapping any scan button, then tap Restore Purchases at the bottom.
Go to Profile and scroll to the bottom. Tap Clear All Data to permanently delete all your local data.

We collect your name, email address, date of birth, home country, and wine experience level at registration; profile photos you upload; scan usage data; cellar and collection data; device information for push notifications; and anonymized usage patterns.
We use your information to provide and improve Wine Whisperer, verify you are of legal drinking age (19+), process your subscription via RevenueCat, send push notifications you opt into, and personalize your experience.
Profile photos are stored locally on your device. Wine list and bottle scan images are sent to our servers temporarily for analysis and are not permanently stored.
If you use winery check-in features, we may access your location to find nearby wineries. Location data is not stored permanently or shared with third parties.
With your permission, we send push notifications for drink window alerts, weekly updates, and winery rewards. You can opt out at any time in your device settings.
We collect your date of birth to verify you are 19 years of age or older. This data is stored locally on your device.
We use Anthropic (AI analysis), RevenueCat (subscription management), Firebase (leaderboard and real-time features), and Expo (push notifications). Each has its own privacy policy.
Your cellar, passport, profile, and scan history are stored locally on your device. You may delete all data at any time using Clear All Data in your profile.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share or sell aggregated, anonymized data including wine preferences, scanning trends, regional popularity, seasonal patterns, price sensitivity, food pairing choices, and cellar composition. All such data is anonymized and cannot identify individual users.
You may delete all your data at any time using Clear All Data in your profile. To request account deletion or data export, use the Contact Us button in your profile settings.
Wine Whisperer is intended for users 19 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 19.
